Monica Timmons is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Monica is committed and passionate about serving her local community in any capacity necessary. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville University in Business Management and Sociology. Monica is currently enrolled with the University of Illinois - Gies College of Business with a concentration in Management.

 

Monica has obtained certifications in Cloud Automation and Application Delivery Management from OpenText, as well as SAFe® Agile Certification, Business System Analysis, and Quality Assurance Analysis from ASPE Technologies.  

For over 20 years Monica has held positions as the Sr. Build and Code Release Manager, Implementation Manager, Project Manager, Sr. Product Owner, Senior Business System Analyst, Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, and Lead Quality Assurance Analyst with governmental entities.

 

Monica is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ®,  Zeal of Xander, Inc. Black Maternal Health Non-Profit Board Member and Technology Chairman, Al Denson Board member, National Council of Negro Women, Inc. ®, National Association of Parliamentarians®, and Supervisor - Chairman of local CDD Board.  

Monica's proudest moments have been surrounded by loving on her family as a wife and mother to two daughters.
